A Message From the Principal

Dear Granada Primary School Families:

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!

This year our theme is “Disney - Unleash the Magic” and I love this theme because we believe that through our wonderful work we can unleash the magic for all of our students. One great quote from Walt Disney is, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” This year we will continue to move forward, open new doors, and do new things for our students because we continue to want to do better for those that we teach, all so that we can ensure that they get the best education imaginable.  As with any new school year, we will work hard and display our passion, and we will do it together with you as our partner. Reflecting back upon the 2015-2016 school year, I can’t help but feel proud at all the accomplishments that we have had because we were all here to help children learn.  Looking forward, we are excited about the possibilities that await our children here at Granada because we will unleash their magic.

It is my core belief that every child deserves a high quality education provided by a highly effective teacher at every grade level. At Granada Primary, we are preparing our students to compete in a global society.  I assure you the Granada Primary Team will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Granada by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners.  During the remainder of the year, it is my hope that we will continue to work together to provide our students the best possible opportunities in preparing them to be world-class citizens ready to master the challenges of the 21st Century with a solid foundation created here at our school.

I am truly honored to serve as your child’s principal, and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child’s academic success.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns.  Working together, we can continue to accomplish great things at Granada Primary School.
